Hi, my name is Chris and I am the founder of Morel Roofing. I have over 16 years of experience covering all aspects of high-quality roofing solutions in Edinburgh, Lothians and Borders. I work alongside my brother Adam, who specialises in joinery. We pride ourselves in excellent craftsmanship and outstanding customer service to ensure every project exceeds expectations.

Slating

Slate roofs are the most durable types of roof systems you can install on your home.

Regular inspection and maintenance of your roof is very important as broken slates can lead to issues such as costly repairs or property damage due to internal moisture. That is why all emerging issues should be tackled early to avoid bigger problems in future.  

As a professional slater I will source, cut, repair and install slates (Scotch, Welsh, Spanish) to your roof, wheather its on your home or outbuilding.

Tiling

Tiles are often another material of choice for its quality and longevity. They are mostly valued for their natural aesthetics-colour, versatility and good looks.

Tile roofs are exceptionally resistant to water, frost, fire and wind damage and provide great thermal properties, reducing heat loss or gain. They are also one of the simplest one to install, repair and maintain.

I provide all of the above services. 

Flat roofs

Flat Roofing is a modern, durable, practical and affordable solution for projects such as extensions, garden rooms or garages.

I offer wide range of flat roof work from torch on felt to single-ply.

I am a qualified Alwitra  waterproofing membrane system installer.

Gutter and Pipe Maintenance 

Comprehensive gutter and pipe maintenance including cleaning, inspection, and repair. Ensuring proper function to prevent water damage.

Includes locating source of problem, leak tracing,  removal of debris and unclogging of downpipes to ensure correct water flow.  

Applying fresh coat of paint is also not a problem!
